Laurianne owns plots exclusively located in Grand Cru territory. This Brut is an assembly coming from the territories of Ambonnay, Bouzy and Louvois. Obviously from these territories the grapes are exclusively Pinot NOir and Chardonnay. The base wine was harvested in 2020, to which 20% reserve wines were added. It is important to underline that throughout the range, Laurianne champagnes do not undergo malolactic fermentation.
Laurianne Lejour - Epernay
Laurianne Lejour is a young producer who has been active for a few years on a tiny 1.5 hectare vineyard estate divided into 4 micro-plots in grand cru classification between the Montagne de Reims and the Côte de Blancs in the municipalities of Ambonnay, Bouzy and Louvois. Each single vineyard is individually vinified in the small owned cellar in Reims using used oak flûtes. Blends for 20% of the total made up of vins de reserve, and no use of malolactic fermentation. Already at the beginning, Laurianne offers us wines of broad floral expressiveness and seductive perlage, characterized by a marked territorial identity and marked minerality. A talent to follow carefully who will offer us surprising champagnes over the years and who has already at the beginning interpreted a style recognizable for its elegance and clear territorial transposition, as recently attested by the award obtained already at the second harvest as "Jeune Talent de Champagne".
