Riesling Langenmorgen Dr. Burklin Wolf 2013
The Bürklin-Wolf winery, founded in 1597, is today the largest German company, and certainly one of the most important wineries. Located in the Palatinate, it counts 85 hectares of vineyards divided into four municipalities: Wachenheim, Forst, Deidesheim and Ruppertsberg. Since 1994, the vineyards are divided, just like in Côte d'Or, there are Gran Cru and Premier Cru. The Wines from these historic vineyards must faithfully reflect their cru, especially in the potential of aging. The mild climate, the soil different compositions and the respectful work of nature are the cornerstone of unique terroirs from which the high quality wines come from, they are known for the strong personal character. The extreme care and attention that the company dedicates to its vineyards has been recognized since 2005 with the BIODYVIN certification. Langenmorgen is perhaps the most significant vineyard in the municipality of Deidesheim, and one of the most important historic Vineyards of the Palatinate. Riesling coming from the 0.7 hectare estate owned by Dr. Bürklin-Wolf is marketed for business choice with the Premier Cru classification.
