Three Senses
Tamarind stands out on the nose over an almost buttery base of ripe fruit, such as plum and raisin. Memories of a panettone and tofee emerge. On tasting, the mouth is invaded by complexity and smoothness, in perfect Speyside style. In the dense fullness of the sip, hints of wild plum jam, cardamom and nutmeg make their way in. Fig, date and cream caramel with brown sugar. Streaks of citrus peel lighten the palate and bring a clean finish with hints of chocolate, coffee and cedar.
