Milo is a red wine derived from the native Croatian vine Plavac Mali, an ancient grape, dry but with a high sugar content. Milo is fermented on open yeast indigenous yeasts and then refined in 600 liter spent wooden containers for a year or so. Stop in the bottle for 6 months. The vineyard cultivated on calcareous morainic soils gives life to a dry product, where the simplicity and softness of tannins are perceived.

Vinarija Kriz

Vinarija Kriz

In Peljesac in southern Dalmatia, it is located in a small village of 20 people, Prizdina, the only winery that practices Croatia's biodynamic agriculture.
In this strip of land positioned in the middle of the sea, Maja and Denis Bogoević Marušić, under an expert vision of the grandfather Mile, work just 2 hectares of vineyard with a maximum production limited to 5000 - 6000 bottles per year. The cultivation of vineyards and crops is 100% natural and traditional, only wild indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and aging in cask takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months. The territory is a mixture of marine sensations, of stone, of concentrated fruit. Denis is young, 40 and has found his grandfather open in the choices. This allowed him to apply the principles of biodynamics without hesitation, respecting such a pure environment.
