Montepulciano is the main local grape variety for Ancona wine region. Grapes are selected and hand picked fully ripe in 30 kg cases. Within few hours grapes are soft pressed and the first juice, with a light rosé color, is fermented at low temperature. Aged on lees through the winter, the wine is bottled in March.

Three Senses

Flo is more savoury than other vintage years and Ettore Janni has greatly reduced the added sulphur this year. This gratified the wine's frankness.

Founded in 2015, the company Vigna della cava is located in the municipality of Offagna (Ancona), is specialized in the production of quality wines coming exclusively from the Montepulciano vine. Organic management of the vineyards and the use of innovative winemaking techniques, but not invasive, they allow to obtain elegant wines that express the intrinsic characteristics of the terroir. From this union between innovation and tradition born Flò, rosato and the Corniolo, Rosso Conero.
