Pinot Blanc In Der Lamm Abraham 2022
The Pinot Blanc Abraham comes from the vineyard "In der Lamm". The vines, which were planted in 1958-1962, generate small grains of the most varied sizes and colors. In the penumbra of the pergolas grows this elegant fruit with complex characteristics, which carries within it the special imprint of its origin. The deep roots of the vines do not need artificial irrigation and absorb a large quantity of minerals that give our wine a unique taste. The soil is composed of moraines from the last glaciation, mixed with volcanic rock, rich in porphyry and quartz minerals. This is the vineyard that represents all the Abraham generations, who have lavished wisdom, sweat and passion on it. A legacy of goods and values that we try to preserve and reinterpret with respect, selecting the new shoots from old shrubs. This variety, bred in a unique terroir, is intended to show that Pinot Blanc has the potential to be counted among the great wines. The grapes, after a soft pressing and natural clarification, ferments thanks to natural yeasts in oak barrels of 500 liters. Only after the malolactic fermentation does the aging take place for nine months partly on the raw lees partly on the fine lees always in the same Tonneaux
Weingut Abraham
Young farmers for tradition and passion for viticulture: this is the secret that surrounds the Weingut Abraham winery run by Martin and Marlies Abraham in the area of Appiano, in Trentino Alto Adige. It all started in 2011 when they decided to make their own grapes by focusing on responsible management of the vineyards and always taking into account the knowledge of their "fathers" that accompanies them, still, in this great adventure.
Recognizing, respecting and preserving the unique character of their vineyard, always producing characteristic and expressive wines, has always been their great goal. It is not just a job: it is a conception of life. Their vineyards come to life along the geological fracture that lies between the deep porphyry soils and the alluvial limestone soils of the Dolomites.
The uniqueness and strardinality of the territory are enclosed in their wines.
