Perlugo is Pievalta's classic zero method, in collaboration with the historic Barone Pizzini, producer of some of the best classic Italian methods in that of Provaglio d'Iseo, Franciacorta. In Perlugo the bubble produced from 100% Verdicchio grapes is vivid, of which the soft pressing and the vinification at controlled temperature enhance the varietal notes. The calcareous clay soil is the ideal substrate for giving elegance and depth.
The fresh shoulder of Verdicchio with its power expresses the great vocation for sparkling. Young, straw color with greenish highlights, it expands scents of almond, aromatic herbs and flowers. Flavor is sharp and clean on the sip, intriguing and satisfyingly clean.Accompanies fish dishes, even crudités, shellfish, cheeses that are still fresh and delicate meats. A fun bubble to run through your glasses at aperitif time.
Pievalta
The wine company Pievalta was born from an investment made in 2002 by the will of Silvano Brescianini, owner of Franciacorta of Barone Pizzini. The estate is located in Maiolati Spontini, but its vineyards are distinct in the vineyards of the left bank, those of Moie di Maiolati Spontini and those of the right bank, the vineyard of San Paolo of Jesi in the Follonica district for a total of 26 hectares. Silvano's great insight was that he was entrusted with the project from Alessandro Fenino, who together with his wife Silvia laid the foundations for one of the most interesting realities of the Marche Region. When Alessandro arrives in the farm, he works with the wines in organic certification, but his goal was reached him from 2005, certifying the company in Biodynamic agriculture. The wines, following the path of Alexander, are a reference for varietal clarity and expressiveness. And as Alexander stands out for so much substance and no extremism.
