The first wine produced by Gian Mario Bongini's Terra Libera winery is "Da Solo", a Verdicchio Dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore.

With a production of about 2050 bottles, Gian Mario chose the name "Da Solo" for three reasons: he started this adventure alone, the grapes come from a single parcel of the vineyard and, finally, the wine completes its fermentation spontaneously, by itself precisely, without the addition of selected yeasts.
There is also no addition of sulfur dioxide as the wine is naturally protected by saturating the tanks with carbon dioxide.

After the harvest and a soft pressing, fermentation and aging take place in stainless steel tanks. Aging also takes place at a temperature of 8-10°C to avoid malolactic fermentation.

Three Senses
In the glass the wine is bright yellow in color with classic shades tending toward green. In the mouth, citrus and fruity notes are evident. White fruit above all.Of a remarkable persistence, its minerality and savoriness, mainly the result of the largely calcareous soil, are well evident.

Terra Libera

Terra Libera is born with Gian Mario Bongini who, after growing up in Milan, chose to move to the Marche countryside that he loves so much.

His activity in wine world began in a company with other partners i n a well-known Verdicchio winery. In 2021, however, he decided to purchase a 7-hectare vineyard in the municipality of Serra de Conti on his own.

The vineyard is situated on hillsides of various exposures and with an elevation ranging from 250 to 325 meters. The composition of the soil is clayey in the highest part and, descending, silty and sandy.
Gian Mario chooses to follow the path of sustainability and low environmental impact by starting the total conversion to organic. Not only that, his vineyard management also includes the use of biodynamic techniques.

The first wine of his production is "Da Solo". It will soon come out with a new label named "Insieme"
