Pira's Nebbiolo comes from a vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba planted in 1999 at an elevation of 310 meters above sea level and located on soil of limestone-clay composition. The vineyard's exposure faces south/southwest.
Vinification of Langhe Nebbiolo takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and extends for about 18-20 days.
Aging is traditional carried out in 25 hl Slavonian oak barrels for 9 months.
