Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Superiore Santa Maria d'Arco 2013
The Santa Maria d'Arco company owned by the Ceci Enrico family is located on the hills of San Paolo di Jesi, in a small town in the Marche hinterland. Present for several generations, the farm began its winemaking activity in the 1960s and is managed directly by Enrico with the collaboration of the whole family. The careful work in the vineyard and the work in the cellar have contributed to the qualitative improvement, focusing exclusively on the specificity of the native vines.
Verdicchio Santa Maria d'Arco comes from the vineyards of San Paolo di Jesi at 240 meters above sea level. The vines have an age that can reach up to 60 years. The grapes are harvested by hand, subjected to soft pressing with a horizontal press and static cold decantation of the must.
