Tenuta dell'Ugolino is located in Castelplanio, Marche, one of the most vocated municipalities for the production of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. Owned by the Petrini family, it was founded in 1980 as a traditional farm typical of the Marche region, but over time, the winemaking component became its main activity thanks to young Andrea's passion for his land and the wines it produces.
Vigneto del Balluccio is a Verdicchio Classico Superiore whose grapes are harvested from a 1.5-hectare vineyard planted on clay soil with a south/southwest exposure.
The vinification process is the more classic one for white wines, and aging in steel tanks lasts 8 months.
