Manfredi di Manfredi Franco - Marsala
To the hectic life as a lawyer between Milan and Rome, Franco Manfredi preferred life in the vineyard, in his homeland, Marsala, realizing what had always been his dream: to be free.
But his passion had already begun years ago with many experiences in the world of high-level food and beverage, until reaching the award, in 2020, of “Best Customer of the Year” by one of the most important guides in the sector. From here he continues his studies in viticulture and enology.
He finally decided to return to Marsala, starting winemaking with Vincenzo Angileri, who immediately became his mentor. He surveyed an old vineyard of about one hectare in which countless varieties were planted: Nocera, Nerello Mascalese, Nero d'Avola, Zibibbo, Corinto, Grillo, Catarratto... it is precisely during the period of the pandemic that Franco Manfredi delves into the world of winemaking, also becoming passionate about oxidations.
