Le Tribute is the first gin born in Spain and produced by the MG distillery. The distillery was founded in 1835 by Manuel Giró, who initially specialized in the production of pharmaceutical syrups and medicinal drinks.
Fifty years later he began instead the creation of high quality spirits. It was during the Civil War, hidden in the mountains of Catalonia, that a descendant of Manuel Giró discovered lush and abundant juniper bushes that gave him the idea to create his first gin.
After years of study and experimentation, in 2016, Le Tribute gin was born, a tribute to the founder of MG Distillery and a tribute to future generations. Le Tribute gin is born from seven successive distillations, the intense balsamic note of Teruel juniper blends with the sweetness of Valencian oranges, the silkiness of pink, yellow and green grapefruits, the delicacy of Kumquat and the freshness of lime.
The main botanicals that characterize Le Tribute Gin are: juniper berries, lemongrass, two types of orange, lemon, pink grapefruit, yellow grapefruit, green grapefruit, kumquat, tangerine, and lime.
