“Respecting nature is our mission.... But beyond this “philosophical” aspect, our approach is very simple-we want wines that express their character and origins. In other words, living wines!”

From pure Chenin grapes, Vilain P'tit Ch'nin is a white wine born from a spontaneous fermentation operated by indigenous yeasts only and a subsequent 10-month aging in wooden barrels. The soils on which the vines, aged between 30 and 50 years, are developed are composed mainly of clay and limestone.

Domaine Lise et Bertrand Jousset is located in the Loire, specifically in Montlouis-sur-Loire. The Domaine was founded in 2004 and covers an area of 11 hectares where Chenin (on 9ha), Chardonnay (on 1ha), Gamay and Grolleau (both on 1ha) varieties are grown. The goal is to have living soils, rich in microbial activity, and a living vine. This excludes the use of any polluting herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers.

Three Senses
La Jeau Chenin Blanc is oriented towards a nose of white and yellow fruits with classic almond notes also marked by hints of schist identifying the terroir of Anjou. The tactile sensation in the mouth is very pleasant thanks to a texture that is both fat and fine. Ageing in wood remains imperceptible.
