Domaine Dandelion
After working in biodynamic vineyards in Australia, Morgane Seuillot, originally from the area, took over over 3 hectares of vines planted in Hautes Côtes de Beaune in 2016. The Dandelion estate is born. Her partner Christian Knott, an Australian who has lived in France for more than ten years, assists her.
Morgane is the daughter of a well-known horse service provider in the region, so she naturally collaborates with this animal to work the land. Christian, cellarman of the Chandon de Brialles estate, with a good knowledge of plants and biodynamics, brings his knowledge.
In the estate everything is done by hand (or on horseback), vegetable preparations are used to eliminate sulfur and reduce copper as much as possible. The wines are vinified in whole clusters in concrete vats and then aged in barriques for several months. A characteristic of the company is that it does not use pumps or oenological inputs (not even SO2). All this brings great finesse to their wines.
