La Grange Tiphaine - Coralie et Damien Delecheneau
In 2000, in Montlouis Sur Loire, Damien Delecheneau took the reins of the family winery, La Grange Tiphaine. From 2008, Coralie also began to join Damien at the winery, bringing her feminine touch easily detected in the wines as well.
Damien converts the farm's 15 hectares first to organic farming and then to biodynamic farming. The vineyards are located in the municipalities of Montlouis sur Loire and Touraine-Amboise. The varieties grown are those most typical of the Loire area: Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Cót (Malbec), Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Fermentations are spontaneous. Vinification and aging are elaborated in cement tanks and large barrels.
The winery philosophy can be summarized as follows, “Agronomic richness, empirical experience, ancestral passion ... The vines draw inspiration from a generous and delicate soil. For five generations, this soil has been tilled, turned and cleared, giving an undeniable character to the Domaine's wines”.
