Umbria wines

Sagrantino di Montefalco Docg, Montefalco Rosso Riserva and Rosso di Torgiano (with Sangiovese) are the first and most important denominations in Umbria.

In the last few decades, a very important choice has been made in this wine-growing area: a decisive change of direction that has directed mass production towards a more meticulous one, aimed at improving and increasing quality while simultaneously decreasing quantity.

Autochthonous grape varieties such as Sagrantino for reds, Grechetto and Trebbiano Spoletino for whites make this small region exclusive.
