Elian Da Ros
In 1998, after spending five years in Alsace in the Zind-Humbrecht neighborhood, Elian comes back in the Cotes du Marmandais and found 5 hectares of vineyards from his father. Prior to Elian Da Ros no remarkable wine was produced in this region. It exists since 1998, Thanks to Elian's . Today there are some independent producers but Elian is still considered the pioneer of the region, the one who started to produce quality wines. Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Syrah are the most used grapes with yield per hectare below 40 quintals, which explains the density and intensity of the wines of this company. To make this wine is also used a small part of Abouriou, native grape, in addition to the base made up of Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
