Togni Rebaioli

Togni Rebaioli

Being a winemaker today in Valcamonica is a heroic undertaking. In this challenge Enrico Togni came across that, with consciousness, all the groups went up in the mountains to raise their vineyards. It is defined in all respects as a mountain winemaker, but we would like to call it a terroir winemaker.

Agriculture in Valcamonica has been slowly turning off and it took its tenacity to resume working the vineyards of his grandfather and give back energy to the surrounding area. Enrico is an oenologist and together with his wife and mother he takes care of the entire family winemaking heritage. The vineyards that stretch for 3.5 ha are located at about 300 meters above sea level, in the valley that leads to the Stelvio. Mountain air is present and greatly affects the grapes.

Thanks to his sensitivity, Enrico immediately started to cultivate the native vines of the area, especially the herb, for which he nourished a strong passion. But also Barbera, Nebbiolo and Marzemino are among the most used grapes, which take on such a character in the hands of this young and talented winemaker to remain etched in memory.
