Halarà red wine comes from the vineyard recovered by the Vignaioli Amici, in Contrada Abbadessa in Marsala. The vineyards, planted with Marsalese saplings, are from Parpato, a rarity now on the island. Soil mostly composed of very compact clays and limestone in the subsoil. The six thinking minds worked in the cellar with a little experimentation to understand how this grape variety unknown to almost everyone would have behaved. Then semi-carbon maceration of the grapes to enhance the olfactory profile of which Parpato is proud of, subsequent maturation in steel in order not to dirty the velvety part in the mouth.

Three Senses
Wide and pleasant nose, with a hint of black cherries to follow the spices, cinnamon and nutmeg. The frankness of the fruit is striking, unbalancing itself on more citrus notes, pink grapefruit. Pleasant, warm and slender sip, which ends with a lively citrus. The mouth is velvety, extremely silky. The appeal to the palate is marked by a fascinating salinity.

cantina halaraPole Pole in Swahili language in the territories of Kenya and Tanzania means "slowly" and there is no tourist who for at least the time of stay does not make this philosophy his own. The same thing happens to the now consolidated "Holiday Group" of 6 very friendly and talented winemakers who took inspiration from this philosophy in Greece where Halarà to the Hellenic translation of "do it calmly" or, if you prefer, "relax and reflect". The idea then arose from the moment in which this blessed vineyard, not far from the vineyards of Nino Barraco, risks being lost forever, so our farmers roll up their hands and decide to keep it. The Marsalese sapling plants grow in Marsala with a beautiful northern exposure, kissed by the sun and the Mediterranean wind. The white berry is from Catarratto and the red berry from Parpato, an almost extinct grape and on which I have been loses premium vinifications and if positive positive responses have increased. Wow !!!! The group of 6 talented winemakers is made up of Nino Barraco, Giovanni Scarfone (Bonavita), Francesco Ferreri (Tanca Nica), Corrado and Valeria Dottori (La Distesa), Francesco De Franco (A 'Vita) and Stefano Amerighi from that of Cortona. A dream for all artisanal wine enthusiasts to see them together and even more to taste a common wine. To drink Halarà.

Come sempre servizio eccellente e spedizione immediata
Non mi è piaciuto. Pochi profumi e una acidità eccessiva.
