Emmanuel Brochet

Emmanuel Brochet

The family of Emmanuel Brochet had already owned the vineyards for several generations, but left the work to other vintners. Emmanuel resumes work in 1997 and becomes the first vintner in a family of farmers. From the start Emmanuel makes the bold choice of converting her vineyards into organic farming, working to work vineyards and land in order to recreate a lost equilibrium. This requirement developed in him an acute sense of observation. The constraint it imposes on growing up to be very vigilant at any change in its vines to anticipate treatment and spend hours in the field to provide all the necessary care.
In its parcels, young vineyards adjoin the vineyards of 60 years of age.
In the cellar Emmanuel operates with a small bought wood press, with which he can gently press the grapes 5 to 6 times. The freshly harvested must of sulfur then goes to the tonneaux park in the adjoining hall where he is able to express all his skill in the ripening of the wooden wines. The first winemaking dates back to 2002.
