Mas Del Perie

Fabien Jouves is from an old peasant family from Causse. He became winemaker in 2006 by creating the Mas del Périé on the highest slopes of Cahors.
Malbec (Cot) is the king grape variety. Due to the location of the estate at the junction of the terroirs of Quercy and Cahors, the plot selection was obvious to express the different facets of Malbec. This expression of the terroir is reinforced by a Bio-dynamic agriculture respectful of the life, the plant, the Man and his environment.
The vinification of the grapes in the cellar is done naturally, without oenological inputs, and the accompaniment of the wine until its maturity, in concrete vats, barrels and thunderbolts according to its personality.
