This fourth cru classé of the Medoc extends over 107 hectares of vineyards in the commune of Saint Julien, appellation out of the ordinary with 11 cru classé. Ideally located on the edge of the Gironde estuary Chateau Talbot produces wines of great character and quality thanks to the exceptional nature of its land, composed of quaternary pebbles. The experience and knowledge of the Talbot terroir and a meticulous archive preserved and updated by past generations allows extremely precise parcel management. Viticulture is conducted in the integrated struggle and in the deepest respect for nature. A very strict selection of Table de Tris precedes the vinification which takes place for one part in wood and the other half in steel. Temperature control avoids surprises during fermentation. Perfection is sought in every bottle at Chateau Talbot.
