Remi Jobard

Remi Jobart Cellar

At Doamine Remi Jobard growing approximately 9 hectares of vineyards are cultivated, with an annual production of about 50,000 bottles (80% white). Rémi Jobard started the business with the 1991 vintage. BIO certification since 2008 and Ecocert since 2011. All the operations in the vineyard and in the cellar are based on the simplicity and common sense of the peasant, aimed at the sublimation of the different terroirs. Rémi is honest, concrete person, convinced of his own ideas (he was a forerunner, strongly opposed by his colleagues, the use of austrian wood trunks of Stockinger tonnes). For all cuvees, a 1 year elèvage is planned in barrels, new for about 25%, and 6 months in a tub, without its wines being ever invaded by invasive wood notes. For those who love vibrant wines without too much frills, in the most authentic and traditional Meursault classicism.
