Anton Von Klopper's chardonnay is a completely natural wine that is fermented and aged for about a year in ceramic egg. It is a wine that appears turbid because it is not filtered, with green reflections and a crystalline color.

Lucy Margaux

Anton Von Klopper was born in South Africa, but after a period of 10 years in catering (chef and sommelier of the Ritz Carlton Group, not bad!), He decided to change his life and landed in the Force, on the side of Adelaide Hills, becoming one of Australia's most creative and well-known vignerons.
Graduated - with honors - at the famous oenology school of the University of Adelaide, he spent the following years traveling around the world working in Germany, New Caledonia, Zeeland and at the Domaine Serene in Oregon. "I have had the opportunity to work with many winemakers who have destroyed the preconceptions I had about winemaking: At Domaine Serena, I realized that all the great wines express the place they come from, the terroir and the grape variety, and the rest it is a noise, a good vigneron must have an intimate knowledge of every part of his vineyard.
Anton in 2002, with his wife Sally and his daughter Lucy, bought a 6-hectare orchard with cherry trees and started creating their own Domaine, focusing on Pinot Noir.
Mass selection, grapevine vineyards, no irrigation, biodynamic, and lots of practice in this part of the New Wine World. The same philosophy extends to other hills of Adelaide Hills where Anton is supplied with grapes. Grapes picked by hand, then destemmed minimal intervention, very minimal. no sulfur added.
