Antoine Gaita left us too soon. Antoine Gaita was the greatest innovator of doing Fiano.

Villa Diamante is a three-hectare winery just in Montefredane, a favorite place for the cultivation of the Fiano vine. Antoine Gaità was one of the best performers of this vine. Disappeared at the age of 60, he leaves a legacy as a true winemaker, the first to start treating fiano with white gloves. First wood but then only steel, stopping on the lees, interventions reduced to a minimum both in the vineyard and in the cellar. A work of tradition based on the conviction of the relationship between vingaiolo and vineyard because Antoine was one of those firmly convinced that the only way to taste the land is to drink wine. The territory of Fiano is thankful.
