The Coda di Volpe, usually used to cut the Greek of tuff, is vinified in purity by Vadiaperti for this interesting label. Raised at 400m above sea level, with low yields and harvested in the second decade of October, following periodic checks in the vineyard of the degree of ripeness of the grapes. Grapes that are already selected for harvesting and transported in perforated plastic boxes of maximum 20kg, to prevent damage to the skins. Vinification starts within 3 hours with soft pressing at no more than 0.6 bar.

Vadiaperti

Vadiaperti

Vadiaperti is in the province of Avellino, in Montefredane. Antonio Troisi with his son Raffaele lead a company that does not let itself be fooled by the fashion of the moment, but produces authentic wines related to tradition. At the intersection of two large DOC camps, Fiano and Greco di Tufo, the company also produces the Coda di Volpe in purity, once relegated to the task of "cutting" the Greek of Tufo, now embellished by its DOC. After his father's premature death, Raffaele continued his activity in the vineyard and in the cellar with the same ideas of his family generations that preceded him. The vineyards profit from volcanic soils with tufacee characteristics, which reasoned agriculture can carry in the bottle. The vineyards of Fiano, Greco, Coda di volpe and Aglianico live at 400-600 m above sea level in an area with a great natural impact.
