Perbenci is a sparkling rosé wine whose blend is composed of 80% Lambrusco Grasparossa and 20% Trebbiano Modenese. We are located in the land of excellence of Lambrusco production, the Modenese hills. The soils on which the vines grow have a composition of white clay.

After harvesting, the grapes are pressed directly and then fermentation and ageing are conducted in steel or fibreglass tanks.

In spring, with the addition of must from the same grapes, re-fermentation in the bottle takes place.

Franchina e Giarone - Pizzetti Luca - Colombaro di Formigine

Franchina e Giarone

Franchina e Giarone is a winery on a hill, and not just any street, in Via Spagna. Yes, that street where the Trebbianino took the name Trebbiano di Spagna.

Luca Pizzetti started out as a wine enthusiast, working for years in the textile industry and, in the meantime, gaining experience with wine producers in the Modena area, Angol d'Amig and Podere Sotto il Noce for example.

In 2020, taking advantage of the historic moment, he decided to take the plunge and devote himself to his personal project, thanks also to the opportunity of being able to buy land. Luca works on 6 hectares of vines, three of which are in rent and in production, and three of which he has planted from a careful mass selection of old varieties.

Luca is an exponent of the Modenese hills and therefore the varieties he works with are Lambrusco Grasparossa, Trebbiano Modenese and Trebbiano di Spagna. The interpretation in the cellar has its own uniqueness, always fresh wines, short maceration short macerations on the reds and blending of white and red grapes.
