The Colheita is a Tawny style port produced exclusively from grapes from a single harvest.

The grapes have been destemmed and crushed in traditional presses, called lagar. Kopke is the most important producer of Colheita, with over 100,000 barrels resting in their cellar in Villanova de Gaia.

All Colheita have spent much more than the 7 years required by the specification in casks. The Colheita is perfect as Port by the glass because even when open it does not oxidise, unlike the traditional Vintage Port.

Three Senses

The wine is wonderfully rich, exuberant, with aromas of ripe fruit and spices. The tannins are very fine with a beautiful length on the palate, this Port is of purity and elegance characteristic of Noval.

Con oltre cinque secoli di storia la Kopke è la più antica casa di produzione di Porto. Fondata nel 1638 da Germans Christiano e Nicolaus Kopke l’azienda coltiva oltre 90 ettari di vigneti, produce vini di altissima qualità, dipinge le etichette a mano, ed è considerata una delle aziende di riferimento di Porto.
Fu acquistato dal gruppo Sogevinus nel 2006. Al giorno d'oggi è un riferimento di prestigio.
