The grapes come from the Fusot and Gheja vineyards on marly soils with South-East exposure. Production is traced back to 2kg per vine with a thinning of 15-20%. The pressing immediately divides the must from the peel and the vinification is conducted all in steel, until bottling in late spring.

Ghiomo is a former convent of friars in the heart of the Roero, in Guarene, just 3 km from the famous Alba. Medium-to-small sizes make it possible to search for quality and character that is increasingly appreciated and sought nowadays. During the work in the cellar, the attention and the care for the details are great, in order to respect the cycle from grape to glass. Glass around which old and new friends will meet to share the passion that creates it. The company is in the hands of Anfossi Giuseppino who cures every stage of production, starting from the 5 vineyards: Croera, Fussot, Granda, Lavai, Rivet.
