Domaine De Bellivieres
At Domaine de Belliviere everything revolves around culture. Christine and Eric Nicholas, lovers of reading, poetry and art, they fell in love with the vineyard culture in the early nineties and after attending the Domaine Pibarnon and the Francois Chidaine wineries they decided to buy 3.5 ha Of vineyards in 1995 in Sarthe, a small region of which they are today the best performers. They manage all 5 common land plots of land, of which 7 are the Jasnieres, protected by one of the most beautiful forest of France, Bercé. The Agriculture at the Domaine de Belliviere has been certified Bio since 2005 and Biodynamic since 2008. By setting this rooted choice, Eric and Christine Nicolas have undertaken a landmark identification pathway, making wine from each parcel individually to expose wine to the greatest possible identity. Probably the best interpreters of the minerality of the area.
