The Chateau was sold in 1843 to a banker named de Gromard, just a few years before it fell into the Troisieme Cru Classée category in the 1855 classification. One hundred and fifty years later, the Halabi family, now owners of this Chateau, brings a new impetus, with the ambition to raise it to an ever higher level.
