Twelfth- and thirteenth-generation winegrowers, Jean-Jacques Cattier and his son Alexandre Cattier are the creators behind the prestigious cuvées of Armand de Brignac.
Their ambition has always been to craft a Champagne of exceptional quality, capable of expressing the absolute excellence of the territory where the family has cultivated vineyards for over 250 years. The Famille Cattier is based in the Montagne de Reims and owns around 33 hectares of vineyards, spread across some of the most renowned crus of Champagne, including the villages of Rilly-la-Montagne, Chigny-les-Roses, and Ludes.
The grape selection is rooted in a deep understanding of the region’s viticultural mosaic, built through generations of hands-on vineyard work, enabling the family to fully express the identity and richness of the Champenois terroir.
