The 2010 vintage leaves its mark in the history of Dom Pérignon for its ease and generosity. In contrast to the previous year, the growth of the vine was regular and progressed without incident, while the clusters were of a significant number and size. While the weather has remained moderate for some time with the month of August particularly fresh - the harvest was defined by the dry heat of the last weeks before the harvest. The harvest began on September 24th with the grapes showing excellent ripeness and health.
Three Senses
Bright straw yellow on the nose releases aromas of almond and cocoa powder gradually develop into white fruit, with hints of dried flowers. Classic toasty notes give a harmonious finish and denote fully realized maturity. On the palate, the wine instantly draws an incredibly fine line between density and lightness. Its precision is extreme, tactile, dark and chiseled. The full flavor lingers with utmost elegance in a spicy note.
