Rum La Doma 23 Zacapa

Zacapa launches the Heavenly Casks collection, a limited series that every year for the next 4 years will celebrate one of the barrels used for the aging of Zacapa 23, the Ex-American Whiskey barrels, the Charred Ex-American Whiskey, the Ex-Oloroso Sherry and the Ex-Pedro Ximénez Sherry, emphasizing their characteristics.

The Guatemalan house Zacapa now needs no introduction. His choice to work the Miel Virgen, the virgin juice of the sugar cane from which a part of the water has been removed, brings to the distillate a very pleasant finesse of aromas. Aging then does the rest, through a unique process called the Zacapa Solera System which takes place at 2,300 meters above sea level in the mountains of Guatemala. The altitude and cool temperatures slow down the process favoring the optimal balance between distillate and wood.
