The Sassella Riserva Rocce Rosse is a milestone in valtellina. The first label dates back to 1984, when after having settled the vineyard at an altitude of 400 meters Arturo Perego Pelizzati decides to produce his reserve. A 6-year aging, 4 of which passed in wood grains and then a aging in steel and bottle to smooth out that incisiveness of Chiavennasca. It is called Red Rocks to emphasize the soil on which the vine grows and the eternal passion that accompanied Arturo in the production of wines of the valley.

In 1984 Arturo Pelizzatti Perego, strong of the experience obtained in the farm with in his father and grandfather, decided to give life to ARPEPE in order to bring out the full potential of a unique terroir like the Valtellina. With all the pride and tenacity necessary for such a target, he began producing age Nebbioli following the rules of the pi & ugrave; ancient tradition. Today Isabella, Emanuele and Guido carry on his father's work. In a few years, thanks to careful technological innovations and the selection of a young staff Arturo's dream has come true: his precious and limited production is now back to being a reference in the national and international wine scene.
